At this point, Sony Ericsson shouldn’t assume that people aren’t expecting to get their hands on the Nozomi, or XPERIA Arc HD, soon. Considering how many times we’ve seen this device leak its way onto the Internet, we wouldn’t be surprised to hear an official announcement from the manufacturer. And considering that this will probably the last high-end smartphone from the joint venture between Sony and Ericsson, we would imagine that the companies would want to announce this device with some excitement.
So, features, there’s nothing really new here: the Nozomi will have a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280×720. There’s a 1.5GHz dual-core processor under the hood, a gig of RAM, and a 12MP rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video capture. You’ll be happy to find an HDMI port, but there won’t be a microSD card slot. Interestingly enough, though, the Nozomi is now slated to launch with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. But, there’s no doubt that Sony Ericsson will want to update this handset to Ice Cream Sandwich when they get the chance. There’s a few more shots of the phone in the source link below.
