Sony Ericsson is one of those companies that loves to launch a phone, and then launch a smaller version of the same phone. It’s a great tactic, though, as some people out there just don’t like the bigger display or thicker frame. So offering the same high-end phone, but with smaller proportions makes sense. And that is apparently what we’re looking at here with the Sony Ericsson Nypon.
We’ve seen plenty of images of Sony Ericsson’s Nozomi handset, which may is also being referred to as the Arc HD. But, the Nypon is a new face on the scene, more or less. And as for specs, not much is known, except that it seems it will be identical to its larger sibling, save for a few features. Specifically, instead of a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720, the Nypon will have a 4-inch display with a 960×540 resolution. Other than that, not much is known. We’ll have to hope the Nypon is the real deal, and that we start seeing more of it soon. Stay tuned.
