Smartphones are getting better and better, seemingly on a daily basis. Of course, these improvements aren’t just to the software (which of course is supremely important) but also the hardware. Sony, the device manufacturing giant, has recently sent their Xperia Ray to 5 prominent street photographers to travel the streets of London and snap some quick candid shots.
The phone itself has a 1GHz Snapdragon process and a 3.3-inch 480 x 854 display. It also houses a front-facing 1.3MP camera in addition to the 8MP camera on the back. 512MB of RAM and an microSD slot are also included in the device that measures only 9.2 mm thick. The phone ships with Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread) and is skinned with Sony’s proprietary Timescape UI.
