ZTE V66 passes through FCC with Verizon 4G

ZTE (like many of the smaller Asia based mobile devices manufacturers) is looking to move into the high-end market, unknown territory for themin the US until now. It looks like one of their first devices elite devices is going to be the V66 on Verizon’s 4G LTE network. Specs include a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, Android 3.2, and a 1,280×800 display all powered by a 4,000mAh battery. It also appears to have a camera as well as 3G/4G connectivity.

So many tablets are out on the market these days, and it’s going to be tough for ZTE to break out as a competitor in the high-end market. Also take note that the device has no branding of ZTE, and it may just be re-branded under Verizon’s name. For all we know, it may not even make it to the US. There’s still no official word or release date, so patience is key until we know more. Do you like the looks of this new tablet? Would you give ZTE a chance?
