Rumors regarding the Acer Iconia Tab A200 have been running amok for quite awhile now, especially late last year. But earlier this morning Acer officially announced a launch date and price tag, which comes just days after its official announcement.
The Iconia Tab A200 by Acer features a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, with a resolution of 1280×800. You’ll find a NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor under the hood, and the device will be running Android 3.2 Honeycomb right out of the box. However, here’s where there’s even more good news. Acer has also confirmed that the Tab A200 will upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in mid-February.
You get all of that for the cheap price tag of $330, which should make the Acer Iconia Tab A200 stand out amongst the other Android tablets out there, at least for a short time.
