ASUS Transformer Prime gets rooted again following latest software update

As we have seen in the past, all it takes to fix a root/jailbreak situation is a software update. That happened with the latest bit of maintenance that released for the Transformer Prime by ASUS. It wasn’t talk about all that much, but it looks like the update that was supposed to primarily fix the GPS issue was also meant to patch up any holes created by the development community out there. It didn’t last long, though, as the new software has already been rooted.

It didn’t start off all that easy, but it looks like the fine folks over at the XDA Forums have managed to figure it out. It seems stable, but we stress that you should read the full thread, and everyone’s input and feedback, before you dive in. But if you’re confident enough, go ahead and move through the XDA source link below and take a crack at it. If you are successful, be sure to let us know how it went in the comments below.
