ASUS Transformer Prime software update incoming, aims to fix GPS

The ASUS Transformer Prime has been out for awhile now, and while owners are more than happy to have their hands on a quad-core tablet now running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, for those owners out there trying to work out the GPS problems it probably hasn’t been any fun. ASUS is trying to work on it, though, as the company has released another software update that is primarily directed at addressing those issues.

The software update is being rolled out in stages, as these things tend to be. Unfortunately, for those out there who have received the update already, it doesn’t look like the GPS issue is being fixed on some devices. Each device is different, though, so if you own a TPrime you shouldn’t expect the update not to work. As far as the camera goes, that seems to have been updated as well. What’s more, it seems that the Browser performance has been tweaked for the better, too.

If you’ve updated your Prime, let us know how it goes.
