Droid Bionic OTA update hits testers

Looks like Motorola’s back at it again and plans for another update to the Droid Bionic have been announced. The update will hit consumer units in soon and we have news that Motorola has rolled out the update to testers. What’s changing?

  • VCast Music app has been replaced by the Amazon MP3 app
  • Motorola’s Terms and COnditions screen automatically enables data collection/location details
  • A security patch from Google has been applied to block access to change Home panel icons
  • On factory reset location consent screen shown on activation screen

Google’s security patches are actually pretty important though small. Terms and conditions and data collection items have been updated though most users won’t notice any real change. The update should be rolling out tonight or tomorrow barring any complications during testing. If it does roll out to you, let us know how it works out below!
