While Fujitsu may not be a household name here in the States when it comes to phones, it looks like the company has some lofty goals in mind for their foray into the smartphone market. During the CES Unveiled event last night, a leaflet with the Fujitsu name on it started to make the rounds. After reading it, the folks over at Engadget were quick to get excited, noticing that the company has plans to create a quad-core smartphone.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any images of the rumored device, and there’s no way of knowing if Fujitsu actually plans on showcasing the device at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. However, the list reads like a dream: TEGRA 3 quad-core processor, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box.
We’ll have to wait and see how this one stacks up against the competition, or if the company will show off the device at the event.
