We have heard about the HTC Ville and the HTC Edge, both of which are supposed to be high-end devices running some pretty impressive specifications whenever they launch. More importantly, the devices are rumored to be unveiled at this year’s Mobile World Congress, which should make it a pretty exciting event for HTC fans. But, with those high-end devices on the horizon, the price tag is more than likely going to be pretty high. That’s where the HTC Primo comes in.
According to some tips the fine folks over at Stuff.tv received, the Primo is set to the fill the bottom of the barrel when it comes to price. The device itself is rumored to feature a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display outfitted with Gorilla Glass. It will reportedly feature a 1GHz dual-core processor under the hood, 512MB of RAM and a 5MP camera on the back. It will also be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, which should make it a pretty enticing device if it pans out to be true.
When will the Primo launch? No idea, but the rumor mill is suggesting it will have a price tag marked at $389 when it does. That’s a pretty low price, but stranger things have happened. We’ll just have to see if Primo makes an appearance next month.
