The HTC Rezound, the first US smartphone to feature Beats Audio by Dr. Dre, was released back in November for $299.99 on contract. Scarcely a month and change later, it gets a price drop. Today, we found out that the phone is $100 bucks cheaper at $199.99 direct from Verizon. For those of you that still feel like shelling out $200 bones for a phone is just not a sound financial decision, make your way over to Amazon.com, they’re selling this bad boy for $149.99.
If you didn’t catch all the specs the phone is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 8MP camera (rear), 2MP camera (front), and is capable of full 1080p video capture. In addition, it plays nicely on Verizon’s LTE network so data speeds will not be a limiting factor. Of course, one of the highlights is Beats audio and the phone itself comes with a repackaged iBeats earbud headset in addition to whatever magic they have inside the phone that makes it sound oh so wonderful. If any of that news interests you, go ahead to your local Verizon store or hop onto Amazon’s website and get yours today!
