So our big brother site, PhoneDog is roaming the floor up at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and during their time there they’ve managed to get their hands on plenty of new devices. Early yesterday morning they started with the recently announced Huawei Ascend P1 S, which is touting the crown as the thinnest Android phone in the world. Of course, it packs plenty of other statistic bullet points, all in hopes of drawing your attention.
The Huawei P1 S features a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display with a Corning Gorilla Glass panel. Under the hood you’ll find a 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 processor, coupled with an SGX 540 GPU. On the back of the device there’s an 8MP camera with 1080p HD video recording, and the battery inside is measured at 1,800mAh. The device has 1GB of RAM and 4GB of ROM, it has 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound, and it will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box.
