Huawei has historically been a manufacturer of low-end Android smartphones, but they have slowly launched phones with increasingly better specs. First there was the Honor, which featured mid-range specs, and they later unveiled the Ascend P1 S at CES. The P1 S features the latest specs like a dual-core processor and a large 4.3-inch screen. Huawei is looking to aim even higher next month, and will be revealing their Diamond series of high-end Android phones.
Invites have been sent out to an event hosted by the manufacturer on February 26, and Huawei has promised to launch a phone with even higher specs than the P1 S. This means we could see stuff like a quad-core, LTE-enabled phone, meaning that manufacturers like Samsung and Motorola will have something to fear. Only time will tell, and it is speculation until Huawei finally reveals their latest product next month. Do you think Huawei can compete? Is it too late for them to enter? Let us know in the comments!
