If you’re a fan of the DROID line-up, then you’ve probably seen the Motorola DROID 4 by now. A few times, even. It has been leaked so many times over the course of the last couple of months, that it wouldn’t be hard to imagine that Verizon or Motorola have officially announced the device. They haven’t, though, but rumors suggest the device is headed to stores next month. If that pans out, then the latest rumor from an anonymous source speaking with The Verge is probably true.
This anonymous tipster says that the Motorola DROID 3, the device that probably should have been the DROID 4 from the beginning, at least in the specifications department, will land itself on the End of Life list this month. They say that final shipments for the device will be finding their way to stores this month, but that will be it moving forward. This coincides pretty nicely with the rumors suggesting that the DROID 4 will launch at the on-set of February.
The LG Revolution is set to hit the same list this month, too, so maybe that means we’ll be seeing its successor, the Spectrum, next month as well.
