The original DROID RAZR by Motorola has been available for a little while now, so now Motorola and Verizon have deemed it about time to introduce the next member of the newly introduced RAZR family. The RAZR MAXX shares plenty of the same qualities as the original device, but where it is different is probably the biggest, and most important area to most smartphone owners: the battery.
The RAZR MAXX features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor under the hood, with an 8MP rear-facing camera on the back. It is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box, but it will be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich some time in the near future.
Verizon is offering the DROID RAZR MAXX for $299.99 with a new, two-year contract. If you prefer to skip the contract, you can bring the device into your hand for $649.99.
