Moving right along, PhoneDog got their hands on the mid-range Android-powered smartphone from Pantech, the Burst, and came out pretty impressed by the device’s abilities. Despite it not being the next high-end device to rock your socks, it still packs plenty of power and determination to get the job done, and with that low price tag, the Pantech Burst could indeed be the next phone for plenty of people out there.
The Burst will launch on January 22nd for only $49.99. It will feature a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. There’s a 5MP rear-facing camera on the back, with 720p HD video recording capabilities. On the front, you’ll find a 2MP shooter. The phone will be running Android 2.3.5 right out of the box.
