While Verizon is busy launching three versions of the same device, AT&T has released the first Android-powered tablet from Pantech on their network. The Element is a water-proof device that was released on Sunday, January 22nd, and it is available now across all channels.
The Pantech Element is an 8-inch device with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 5MP rear-facing camera with 720p HD video capture capabilities. There’s also a 2MP front-facing shooter. It comes with Android 3.2 Honeycomb right out of the box. It is available without a contract for $449.99. But, if you’d like to sign a new, two-year agreement you can nab the device with $299.99. It will connect to AT&T’s 4G LTE network, for what it’s worth.
