Samsung Epic 4G, HTC Evo 4G and Evo Design 4G all receiving maintenance updates

Sprint may be finally exterminating Carrier IQ from some of its more popular handsets. We first saw the Evo 3D receive an update that took out the tracking service, and their newest batch of maintenance may be doing the same. The Samsung Epic 4G, HTC Evo 4G and Evo Design 4G are all receiving “security updates” as well as a few other minor fixes. When the Evo 3D received a maintenance update a few weeks back, it cited that same “security update”, and took out Carrier IQ in the process. We’re not sure if that’s the case here, but hopefully we’ll find out soon. The full rundown is below, and let us know what you think in the comments.
