Samsung Galaxy Nexus for Verizon receives full MIUI port

Many Android users are fans of the popular Chinese ROM MIUI, and we can add another device to the list of devices with a fully functioning version of the ROM. ViciousMIUI has just been updated, and the developer is claiming that everything is functional, and should be a smooth ride. It’s running on Android 4.0, and should give any users who are already bored with stock Android something else to mess around with.

It isn’t perfect, and two problems have been noted. First, not all themes are working. This has nothing to do with the ROM itself, but with the way the themes are coded. Due to the Galaxy Nexus featuring a new HD screen, most themes have not been updated yet to support the new resolution. A second bug is within the video camera, and that some users are reporting that it is hanging. It doesn’t appear to be widespread, but should be taken into consideration. Anyone looking to try the ROM on their Galaxy Nexus can hit the RootzWiki source to get it now. Once you’ve done that, be sure to come back and let us know what you think in the comments below.
