We know that the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD is headed to AT&T sometime this year, but it sounds like that isn’t the only place this device is headed. While it won’t feature the same name obviously, the phone is now rumored to be headed across the pond, where those in the UK interested in picking up this handset will reportedly have a shot at owning it.
There isn’t an announced release date, and no word on pricing yet, but an advertisement from MobiCity suggests that the HD version of the Samsung Galaxy S II is incoming. The device features a slight bump in specifications (over the original Galaxy S Ii), including a 4.65-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280×720. You’ll also find an 8MP rear-facing camera, an NFC chip buried inside, Bluetooth 3.0-connectivity, and a battery measuring in at 1,850mAh.
As soon as we know more, we’ll pass it along.
