There are plenty of variations of the Samsung Galaxy S II out there. Ranging from both radio variations to color differences, if you’re looking for a specific version of a Galaxy S II there’s a chance you’ll find it. And now Samsung is adding yet another member to the long listed lineage, with their upcoming release of the Galaxy S II WiMAX.
The device will be landing on KDDI au in Japan soon. As far as features go, the device will feature a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display, with a resolution of 1280×720. There’s an 8MP camera on the back, with a 2MP front-facing shooter on the other side. It will feature WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS connectivity, NFC support, 16GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot. It will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box.
