Tablets are everywhere these days and cellular carriers have been jumping on the bandwagon in terms of offering as many options as possible. Unfortunately, the only thing you won’t see these days is a Sony-branded tablet sporting a cellular data antenna. Well, that may all end soon.
AT&T’s roadmap indicates that the tablet will launch in Q1 of this year and other than the fact that it’s called the Crystal we don’t know much. One thing we do know is that it will be restricted to HSPA+ networks (no LTE folks, sorry). In any case, it will be interesting to see what pops up. Chances are, we may be talking about what we already know as the Tablet S. We’ll know soon enough if the Q1 projection is accurate.
