It was only last month that Sony informed the world, and all owners of the Tablet S and Tablet P, that they would be updating their unconventional tablets to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich sooner rather than later. And it looks like the company is keeping their word. According to a new report from The Verge, both tablets are now scheduled to receive the update to the latest version of the Android mobile OS sometime this spring.
Unfortunately, back then, we were only given a vague time frame as to when we should expect it. Now though, that is looking to be a bit different. While we don’t have an exact date for you to circle on your calendar quite yet, we are hearing that Sony plans on bringing Ice Cream Sandwich to the tablets this spring, around the same time as their Xperia handsets.
We’ll have to wait for a finalized date, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to get that information.
