Sony Xperia S announced, runs on Android 2.3

Sony has just announced another phone for their Xperia line of Android phones, the Xperia S. The phone will feature high-end specs, and include a 1.5GHz processor, 12MP camera on the back with a 1.3MP one on the front, 4.3-inch 1280 x 720 display, 1 GB of RAM and storage options of either 16 or 32GB. It will run the now outdated Android 2.3, with no word on an Ice Cream Sandwich update. Sony has stated that it will be launching sometime in March, but we don’t know much more than that. What do you think of Sony’s new phone? Is Android 2.3 a turn off? Let us know in the comments!

If you don't care about updates, then this is perfect. I do so the gNex will do until next year. Have there GSM version, I'm pretty sure Verizon will somehow keep their version from getting the update in a timely manner. More like 3-5 months after the next Nexus and months after the rest of the world as they push the RAZR DROID2.
