One of the main interface options for the Android OS is the soft keyboard. One of the community’s favorite soft keyboards is Swype. For those that don’t know, they revolutionized touchscreen typing by allowing individuals to trace their “path” along a set of keys to form words. This, as demoed in videos, was a quick and efficient process. Well, today, Swype announced through their Twitter account that ICS support would be coming shortly. They state that they are making “final tweaks” and conducting tests. The beta is supposed to come by the end of the month. While a lot of people don’t have the ability to load Swype on their devices, you can bet that those that can leverage the keyboard are ecstatic right now.
