During their time at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, PhoneDog managed to get their hands on the recently announced Excite X10 Android-powered tablet from Toshiba. The manufacturer is marketing it as one of the thinnest tablets out there, and after some hands-on time with the device, there’s no arguing how remarkably thin it is.
Go ahead and watch the video below of Aaron getting some personal time with the device. As for the tablet itself, it boasts a 10-inch display with a resolution of 1280×800. There’s a 1.2GHz TI OMAP CPU under the hood, with a 5MP rear-facing camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. The device is set to launch in the first quarter this year, and when it does it will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The demo unit, however, is running Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
