Acer has plenty of Android-powered devices out there, but the company has more or less failed to become a household name in every market their phones are available. But that hasn’t slowed the company down in the slightest, as they are set to unveil a brand new flagship device for the company at this year’s Mobile World Congress event later this month. It’s called the CloudMobile, and Acer is hoping that it can turn things around.
The device is a mystery for the most part at this point. We are apparently looking at the device in the image above, and apparently the design has already won an IF design award. What we do know so far is that the phone features a 4.3-inch HD touchscreen display, and it will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box. Additionally, it will feature Dolby sound, which should make some folks out there plenty happy. The body is said to measure in at less than 10mm thin, but there aren’t exact specifications to go on yet.
Acer is reportedly unveiling their new flagship device at Mobile World Congress, so stay tuned, as the CloudMobile will either please the Android masses, or be lost in the crowd right on day one.
