BlackBerry PlayBook now receiving its OS 2.0 update, Android apps on board

RIM has promised that its tablet, the BlackBerry PlayBook, would be receiving compatibility with Android apps. That compatibility has just arrived, in the form of PlayBook OS 2.0. The update is now available for owners of the tablet, and the BlackBerry App World is being updated accordingly. “A range” of Android apps are now included, something the tablet really needed, considering how little development it had for its native OS QNX. Considering the tablet can be found cheap these days, anyone looking for a tablet may want to look into this. Who owns a PlayBook? How’s the OS 2.0 update going? Let us know in the comments!
