There have been rumors, reports, suggestions and subtle whispers about what the next version of Android will be called, and all signs are seemingly pointing right at the word, and snack-sized food Jelly Bean. Android 5.0 Jelly Bean, to be exact. And while it is a pretty big jump from Android 4.0 to 5.0, especially in the version immediately after the one just made publicly available, it isn’t impossible.
So that’s why when you see a big jar of jelly beans at Google’s booth at Mobile World Congress, your eyebrows immediately go up. Sure, that doesn’t mean anything, but it could also mean everything. And, as The Verge points out, Andy Rubin wouldn’t confirm anything quite yet, so we’re still just full of guesses.
It does look good, though, doesn’t it?
