Huawei has some major plans for the mobile world, and this year’s Mobile World Congress in just a matter of days is apparently the launching pad for the company. We’ve heard in the past that the company plans on launching their Diamond high-end series at the trade show, and it looks like the D1 Q may be the start of that flagship design.
There isn’t a lot of information coupled with the images that you see above. It’s obvious that in the images the D1 Q isn’t as thin as Huawei’s P1 series, which they unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last month, but Huawei is going more for power rather than thinness. The D1 Q reportedly will feature a quad-core processor under the hood, which should make it plenty interesting when the manufacturer decides to unveil it.
We’ll have to wait and see which version of Android Huawei chooses to go with, but we can keep our fingers crossed it will be Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
