While Huawei may have tried to make a big impact with their latest smartphones to be unveiled, it looks like the company isn’t done there. Following plenty of rumors dating all the way back to late last year, Huawei has officially announced their newest tablet device: the MediaPad 10 FHD. And, much like their newest high-end smartphones, Huawei isn’t pulling any punches in the specifications.
The newest slate in Huawei’s library features a 10-inch IPS display, with a resolution of 1920×1200. Inside, you’ll find Huawei’s K3 quad-core processor, which is clocked in at 1.5GHz. On the back you’ll find an 8MP camera, and on the front there’s a 1.3MP shooter. The specifications list also has both HSPA+ and LTE data-connectivity, so it looks like Huawei is aiming to reach as many customers as possible.
You’ll also get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on the MediaPad 10 FHD, but if you’re more curious as to a launch date there’s still plenty of speculation. Huawei has said that it will be launched in the second quarter of this year, but no finer dates have been provided.
