Mobile World Congress is coming up this month, and we should see a bunch of new phones announced. LG may be bringing two new high-end handsets, known as the P700 and P880. First is the P8800, which may feature high-end specs such as a HD display and Ice Cream Sandwich. It will most likely contain a dual-core processor and at least 1GB of RAM, but that is mostly speculation.
Next is the P700, which mixes it up a little. It is said to feature a display with a resolution of 640×480, which may mean the phone is in the portrait form factor with a hardware QWERTY keyboard. It will also feature high-end specs, like a dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor and 1GB of RAM. Not much more is known beyond that, but it will be interesting to see what LG brings to Mobile World Congress. Take these all with a grain of salt, as nothing is near official yet. Would you buy a high-end phone in the portrait form factor? Is it more of a novelty than anything? Let us know in the comments!
