Motorola DROID 2 Global receiving software update to fix issues

If you own the Global edition of the DROID 2 by Motorola, then there may be some lingering issues with the device that you’ve noticed as of late. Specifically, your handset may turn off randomly and restart without warning. Or, if you’ve been listening to music it may have restarted on you. Definitely not the best situation for someone who just needed to hear that one song, or if you didn’t want your phone to reboot unexpectedly.

The software update has been released, and so you should be notified at some point that you can download and install it. When you do, you’ll also be provided with a Google Security Patch. Additionally, the update will also give you improved access to Gmail while using the mobile hotspot feature, and other fixes. You can head through the Verizon source link below to learn more.
