Yesterday, rumors surfaced that the DROID 4 by Motorola for Verizon would be launching on February 9th. There wasn’t any reason to doubt those rumors, as the 9th of February was just as good a date as anyone before it. But now it looks like the sources were one day off, thanks to a leaked equipment guide showing the “all channels launch” of the DROID 4 listed as February 10th.
For all intents and purposes, folks, this is the official launch date. While Verizon and Motorola are staying mum on the whole situation as of right now, which is just like them before the official launch, the equipment guide lists the final date of a launch for all Verizon employees. (Corporate store employees, mind you.) So, while we’re still waiting for the final word from Verizon, right now it looks pretty safe to mark February 10th down on your calendar if you’re eager to pick up this device.
