Motorola DROID 4 for Verizon officially launching February 10

After plenty of speculation, and even a leaked image of Verizon’s equipment guide, it looks like the Big Red wireless carrier has finally decided to go ahead and reveal the final, official launch date for the latest member of the DROID family. That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, for those of you excited about the 4G LTE-equipped landscape slider handset, you can now safely circle February 10th as the day of days.

Verizon has officially announced February 10th as the launch date. That means, in just four days, you’ll be able to get your hands on the 4-inch qHD display, that 1.2GHz dual-core processor, and the 8MP rear-facing camera. It will be running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread out of the box, but it shouldn’t (hopefully) be too long before the device gets updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

So who’s going to get one?
