Motorola DROID RAZR for Verizon gets glimpse of Ice Cream Sandwich

Motorola recently released a time table and list of phones that they plan on updating to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich this year. It raised plenty of angered voices for plenty of reasons, but for those folks out there who recently purchased a DROID RAZR, it was due to the fact that a date hadn’t been given at all. There have been rumors that Motorola didn’t include the high-end device because they are trying to get the update to Ice Cream Sandwich out sooner than later, but nothing has been confirmed.

That rumor may be getting a bit more weight, though, as images of a DROID RAZR running Ice Cream Sandwich have surfaced online. They come from a single entity over on the DROID RAZR forums, and goes by the name of dragon974, and there are plenty of images to look at. However, there is no other information to ascertain at this point. We know the version of Android is 4.0.3, and the build number is 6.7.407, but other than that we’ve got nothing to go on.

Verizon bloatware is still definitely present, so if you thought that might go away for some reason don’t get your hopes up. You can head through the source link below to look at more images, as there are plenty to stare at, but try not to get too excited. We still have no idea when Motorola is going to issue this update officially.
