One of the best qualities of the Android development community, is the way that people go out of their way to help others. Devs have a natural tendency to want to help those who may not be as technically knowledgeable, and that’s where root tools come into play. It’s a nice little package that developers can put together to help those who may not know, or want to learn, how to go through all the commands on their PC to gain root access.
One of the newest root tools comes from XDA, and it’s aimed right for the DROID RAZR by Motorola. As it stands right now, the root tool is only working on Windows-based computers, so keep that in mind. Once you use the tool, you’ll be able to do all sorts of different things to your RAZR, including restoring stock images, and rooting the device (shock!). You can head through the source link below to learn more, and dive right in if you feel up to it.
