Motorola’s Android 4.0 Intel-based smartphone leaks, expected for Mobile World Congress

Intel has been trying to enter the mobile game for awhile now, and Mobile World Congress might be their grand entrance. A new phone created by non-other than Motorola has just leaked, featuring Intel’s Medfield processor. It gets even better, as the handset will run the latest Ice Cream Sandwich. Instant-on and quick burst features will also be on board, and it may turn out to be the handset to beat.

Despite Google’s recent acquisition of Motorola, the handset appears to be running a custom UI on top of Android. Expected to be the latest iteration of Motorola’s MotoBlur, it returns to a more playful, vibrant theme. Much more should be in store, and it probably won’t be much longer until we see the handset. The unnamed device is said to be unveiled by the end of the month at Mobile World Congress, which is only a mere few weeks away.

This handset may be the debut for Intel’s Android devices, and it will need the smoothest launch possible. Would you buy an Intel-powered phone? If not, why? Let us know in the comments!
