The Galaxy Mini by Samsung has been out for some time now, and the budget-friendly device was pretty successful in the markets in which it was available. Samsung looks poised to replace the old device with a newer model, as a recently leaked image of the Galaxy Mini 2 has been sent over to GSMArena. The new device won’t break any records, but Samsung’s aim is set for the affordable market.
The Galaxy Mini 2 is said to feature an 800MHz processor, with 3GB of internal storage. It will feature a 3.3-inch HVGA touchscreen display, with a 3MP camera on back. It will reportedly launch with Android 2.3 Gingerbread right out of the box. There aren’t many other details known, but rumors suggest Samsung is aiming to launch the device this month.
