Samsung Galaxy S II rumored to receive Ice Cream Sandwich on March 1

Rumors are part of the industry, and we shouldn’t have to remind you that you should read them with a grain of salt. While it doesn’t seem very hard to believe that the Galaxy S II by Samsung could be getting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich sooner than later, we all know that Samsung hasn’t officially announced anything yet. So, owners of the device are still waiting. But, if you want to believe the word of Eldar Murtazin, then you don’t have much longer to wait.

According to the well known figure, he predicts that the roll-out of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to the Galaxy S II will begin on or around March 1st. Murtazin has been known in the past for his spot-on leaks and predictions, but as of late he hasn’t been all that accurate about much, so keep that salt shaker handy. And, there is no mention as to whether or not this is the international version only, or if he could be talking about the Galaxy S II variants found here in the States. Our bet is on the international version, but crazier things have happened.

As soon as we know more, we’ll pass it along.
