It’s been a little bit of time since we’ve seen a render of a leaked, and unannounced device, right? Hopefully it’s been long enough, because we’ve got a brand new one to show you. This time around it’s the Rugby Smart by Samsung, which is looking to be a phone you might actually be able to use in a rugby match, if given the inclination.
This isn’t the first time the Rugby Smart has been in the news, though. Rumors of a February 18th launch date have obviously come and gone, and there’s no new word with this leaked renders as to when we might see it. However, as far as specifications go, it looks like the device will have a WVGA display, with 512MB of RAM and a 1,650mAh battery. The device will be reportedly be running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, which is either good news or bad, however you want to take it.
So, no release date, but rumors are suggesting it will run you $99.99 when it finally lands in stores, whenever that may be.
