It was way back in September of last year when we saw the official announcement of the AT200 by Toshiba. The Android-powered tablet may not have been the most high-end tablet announced near the tail-end of last year, but it certainly doesn’t slouch in the specifications category, and it manages to add yet another tablet in the already crowded market. But, back then, we didn’t know exactly when the device would be made available. That changes today with the device being officially available in the UK.
The device is an exclusive within Carphone Warehouse for a short bit of time. It will run you £399 for the 16GB version, and £449 for the 32GB model. Both tablets feature a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280×800. You’ll find a 1.2GHz dual-core processor under the hood, and 1GB of RAM. It is running Android 3.2 Honeycomb right out of the box. There’s a 5MP rear-facing camera on the back, with a 2MP front-facing shooter on the front.
If you want to wait to get it in a physical store in the UK, you’ll have to hold out until February 15th.
