ZTE shows off Mifavor UI in video

While proprietary user interfaces aren’t anything new, and there are quite a few people out there who would probably say it’s time for them to get lost with the most recent update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, that’s not stopping ZTE from creating their own custom UI and implanting it on their latest and greatest Android-powered handsets.

While the ZTE Mimosa and Era are currently slated for releases in China, there’s speculation that they will be released in other international markets (including the United States), so we wanted to make sure that you get a chance to see what type of UI you’d be using if you do happen to get a chance to pick this up in your neck of the woods. The video is below, and you can definitely see plenty of cues from the other proprietary Android user interfaces out there, from the likes of Samsung’s TouchWiz and HTC’s Sense.

But, Mifavor is its own thing, so we won’t fault it too much. We’ll leave that up to you, if you are so inclined.
