While Angry Birds Space was officially announced yesterday, today at South by Southwest Samsung is busy showcasing the new mobile game on their recently launched (here in the States) Galaxy Note. At the same time, they’re talking up a storm about the exclusive content that Samsung has managed to wrangle in for the upcoming game’s launch.
The new title within the Angry Birds franchise will feature 60 levels right out of the gate, along with new birds to play with, some new gameplay, and some new powers for your birds. And, yes, it takes place in space. But, Samsung is adding to the whole thing by offering up access to the Danger Zone update for free (which will be an in-app purchase for non Samsung-branded device owners), which will provide 30 new levels at some point in the future. Additionally, you’ll also get access to the Lazer Bird, which will help you along in your journey through space.
Angry Birds Space launches on March 22nd. You can check out the gameplay video below.
