ASUS Eee Pad Transformer receiving yet another update

No one can say that ASUS isn’t on top of their updates. We’ve seen plenty of updates for their recently launched Transformer Prime quad-core tablet, and there have been almost just as many updates for the original Transformer as well. Plenty of software updates, all in hopes of fixing the many issues that owners have reported over the weeks since the update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

This latest update, which owners are reporting has already been sent out to the tablet, is apparently meant to address the random re-boot situation gong on with the tablet. Other issues that could reportedly be fixed are software freezes, so that would be good.

If you’ve installed the update, let us know what you think of it.

thanks, D!

I have the same problem it shutdown BY it`s self I Hope they`ll solve the problem Soon

Like Andre the inly issue I've had is random screen flashing during some online video playback. No reboot issues but app f's often

At first I thought the update had solved the freezing and rebooting, but after two days I must conclude that nothing is solved. Is there a possibility to go back to the original OS-version? I would love to go back and trust my Transformer again!

i got problems on playng videos on websites

Love the new update! Makes my awesome tablet more awesome!

I continue to get random power downs. Have to use the hard reboot, ie, holding down the power and volume-down buttons. Random reboots are not as frequent.

I've pame problem, random switch off and some error on battery status visualization.

I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE YOUTUBE APPLICATION, the screen is FLASHING every TIME I OPEN THE APPLICATION

I have been rebooting but apart from that wicked plese send update Asus
