The Transformer TF300T tablet from ASUS hasn’t been a secret since the early part of this month, and during ASUS’ time at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona over the course of this week, the company has done what they could to officially announce their new tablet line-up, now and forever (maybe?) known as the Transformer Pad. One of those devices as the TF300T, and now it’s one step closer to a launch here in the States thanks to its passing through the FCC labyrinth.
The FCC filing doesn’t reveal much, though, so don’t get too excited. What we already know is that the Transformer Pad TF300T will feature NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor under the hood, with a 10.1-inch IPS display, with a resolution of 1280×800. There’s 16GB of built-in storage, with an 8MP camera on the back and a 2MP front-facing shooter. And, as should be expected, the Transformer Pad will be running Android 4.o Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
The device doesn’t have a launch date here in the States yet, nor a price, but hopefully we don’t have to wait too long before we see that revealed.
