Google Wallet has had a slow start in the US, only officially being available on the Nexus S from Sprint. Google is aware of this, and it appears that the giant partnership known as Isis may be sending fear into the heart of Google. We now have information that Google is still in talks with big carriers like AT&T and Verizon about bringing the service to Android devices on their networks.
Google’s idea may be to give these carriers a cut of the profits, an offer that is sure to bring their attention. Word is that if negotiations fail, then Google will try to rely more on in-store terminals. Not sure how they could manage that, but it will definitely be interesting to see what their next move is. Who likes the idea of Google Wallet? Is it simply a gimmick? Let us know in the comments!
