HTC One S for T-Mobile reportedly finds its way through the FCC

Earlier today, the FCC officially cleared a device with a model number PJ40110, manufactured by HTC. While the FCC filing doesn’t reveal any definitive details about the device, outside of its radios, the fine folks over at Engadget believe that this is the One S, and the same One S that is planned to launch on the Magenta Network’s airwaves.

As far as details go, the FCC filing only shows that the handset features an AWS 3G radio, as well as the 3G 850/1900 bands which are geared towards AT&T. The report suggests that this could be the T-Mobile-bound One S due to the model number, which is only a slight tweak of a number, compared to the international versions’ PJ40100.

We know that T-Mobile USA is looking to launch the One S sometime this Spring, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the device making its way through the FCC now.

All we can hope for now is a finalized date to mark on our calendars.
