HTC One V rumored to launch on Virgin Mobile US for $200

We have known for a little while that the One V by HTC, the lowest-end of the brand new One Series handsets revealed by HTC earlier this year, would be landing on regional carriers here in the States, but the pricing has been up in the air. Without official confirmation from any one of the potential carriers, we’ve been left to wonder how they might price the Beats Audio-equipped handset. A new report from Pocketnow suggests that pricing for the One V on Virgin Mobile US’s airwaves might not be all that bad after all.

Keep in mind that this pricing is without a contract, so seeing it priced at only $200 is pretty impressive. This is not just a mid-range device, which would normally feature a price tag like that. The One v by HTC features a 3.7-inch LCD display with a 480×800 resolution. There’s a 1GHz processor under the hood, and it will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC’s Sense 4.0 UI atop it.

We’re still waiting for a launch date, but rumors suggest the handset will be making an appearance this Spring.
