Despite the fact that HTC officially announced the One Series back in February during Mobile World Congress, we are still expectantly waiting to hear exact dates for a launch for their new devices. At the top of the pack is the One X, which is HTC’s first attempt at creating a device with a quad-core processor under the hood. While it is believed the handset will be released SIM-free beginning April 5th, it looks like a new tweet has suggested that the retail version for O2 UK will also become available on that date.
The tweet came directly from O2 UK’s official Twitter account, and as of the time of this writing hasn’t been pulled, so we have no reason to doubt the validity of the reveal. However, neither O2 UK nor HTC has come forward to officially announce a release date quite yet, so we should still be taking this little bit of news with at least one grain of salt.
